Even you're on your holidays do not forget to attend Sunday's Holy Mass! Lisbon gives you many opportunities to attend Catholic Mass in the very beutiful Churches (Igrejas). 

Se - The Cathedral 
If you at least understand Portuguese you will find important information about local Church on website of Diocese of Lisbon. For sure the Holy Mass times  
The main Cathedral for Lisbon is Sé Patriarcal

Sunday Holy Mass at 11.30 a.m and 19.00. 
Tuesday to Saturday 18.30 (on Saturday at 18.30 Sunday's Liturgy)


Saint Anthony's Church

Santo Antonio de Lisboa - yes, Saint Anthony is not from Padua in Italy!!! He was born in Lisbon exactly in the place where now is his sanctuary. You can attend Holy Mass on Sundays and feasts at 11.00, 17.00, 19.00
Saint Anthony of Lisbon
Monday-Friday at 11.00 and 17.00. 
Rosary - everyday at 16.15
Not possible to visit the sanctuary during the celebrations!



The place of birth of St. Anthony can be visited in a cript located underground, where are also his relics. 

To the both churches you can also arrive by the most famous tram Electrico 28.   


Santa Maria Madalena - two minutes walking from St. Anthony. Holy Masses celebrated on
Sundays at 10.30, 12.30 and 16.00,
Tuesday to Friday at 13.00 and 18.45. 


Saint Nicolas Church - Igreja Sao Nicolau at Vitoria Street is open everyday till 22.00 when the late evening Holy Mass is celebrated, then
Sundays: 11.30, 19.15 and 22.00,
Monday to Friday at 12.30, 19.15 and 22.00
Saturdays: 10.00 Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form - Missa Tridentina in Latin, 12.30, 17.00 (Sunday's Liturgy already)
The Blessed Sacrament Exposition and Adoration time Monday to Saturday 8.00 to 22.00 with breaks for the Holy Mass. Sunday from 10.00 till 22.00 also with breaks for the Holy Masses. 
In this Church you will easily find a priest able to confess you in English, Spanish or French. 


São Domingos (Santa Justa e Rufina) - Largo de Sao Domingos, close to Praca da Figueira. Used to be a very beautiful church but the fire damaged it what you can see in the interior. 
Sundays: 8.00, 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 18.00
Monday to Saturday: 8.00, 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 17.30, 18.00.

Nossa Senhora da Vitoria - church in front of the entrance to Baixa Chiado metro station (Rua Crucifixo side) is a part of Sao Nicolau parrish. 
Sundays: 11.00
Monday to Friday: 11.30

Sacramento (The Most Blessed Sacrament Church) - very close to the ruins of Carmelo Convent and Baixa Chiado. 
Sundays: 12.15 Sung Holy Mass in Latin, 16.15
Monday -Saturday: 16.15

Basílica dos Mártires  (The Basilic of Holy Virgin Mary of Martyrs) - very close to Cafe Brasileira and and Largo Camoes (Baixa Chiado)
Sundays: 12.00, 13.20, 18.30
Monday-Friday: 10.30, 13.20, 18.30
Saturdays: 10.30, 18.30 (Sunday Mass)


Nossa Senhora do Loreto - Italian church in front of Largo Camoes. 
Sundays: 10.00, 11.30 (in Italian), 13.00, 17.15, 20.00
Moday-Saturday: 12.00, 17.15, 19.30

Nossa Senhora da Encarnação - in front of church of Nossa Senhora do Loreto, next to Largo Camoes. 
Sundays: 10.00, 12.30, 19.00
Monday-Friday: 8.00, 12.10, 19.00
Saturdays: 19.00 (Sunday Mass)

Santa Catarina - at Calçada do Combro, going from Largo Camoes to Basilica Estrela. Very beautiful church inside even if the facade doesn't give this impression.

Wednesday, Thursday: 10.00
Saturday: 18.30 

Basílica da Estrela - in front of a very nice park Estrela.
Sundays: 9.00, 11.00, 12.00, 19.00
Monday- Friday: 8.00, 12.00, 19.00
Saturdays: 12.00, 19.00

Igreja da Graça - very butiful and big church situated on a top of a hill, close to Sao Jorge Castle. Very nice view from the top of the hill.
Sundays: 11.30, 19.00
Tuesday-Fridays: 9.30
Saturdays: 16.00 (normally Sundays Mass)
